Rob & Kristin finally admit it - Haha!

So Robert Pattinson and Kristin Stewart have finally admitted they are an item – well, he has anyway. The Brit actor declared he was in a relationship with his Twilight co-star to the most important of his publics first . . . The Sun newspaper of course.

Admitting the truth, yet feeling quite sorry for himself and his girlfriend, Robert said: “It is extremely difficult but we are together, yes .”
Honestly, is anyone actually shocked or surprised by this news?? I’m not at all. Who knows why they lied in the first place?? In fact I’m quite happy about it. As much as I’d love Mr Pattinson all to myself, it is never going to happen (and I’m spoken for anyway!). So I think it’s great that him and Kristen are in a relationship, especially as these aren’t just two regular co-stars; they play these two amazing star-crossed lovers – Edward Cullen and Bella Swan are the new generation Romeo & Juliet. And the Twilight saga, both the books and the films, has had enormous effects on millions around the world and has an unbelievably huge fan base. As a hardcore Twilight fan I think this is great news!

However . . . I do think it’s a little dodge that the pair finally comes clean about the relationship, exactly one month before the New Moon DVD release. How convenient. Why now? I would like to think that this particular couple don’t give in to their publicists that easily and are against using their personal lives to sell the movie.

Last November when New Moon was released on the big screen, every newspaper and magazine across the country featured rumours or stories of Rob and Kristin – Are they? Aren’t They? The two actors never commented; they flirted in interviews, they were papped cosying up together, holding hands in public, yet they refused to comment on their relationship. And now four months down the line, they randomly announce they are in fact a couple . . . but I don’t think it is random. I think it is all to do with publicity, and they’ve finally been allowed to lift the lid on the relationship for the benefit of the DVD release. Nice!

In fact, I predict that around June or July rumours/stories will start to spread about a break-up between the two, just in time to promote the third instalment of Twilight – Eclipse (eek!)

But anyways, I hope they do get the chance to be a proper couple and not dragged down by dirty publicists and sell themselves out.

Ashley proves he can use his fingers for things other than texting Page 3 girls

They made a pass, they took a shot, they managed to score . . . but unfortunately it looks like these boys may be relegated!

No this is not Tinkerbell Jaynes attempt to write up a footy match (As if)!

In recent weeks, there has been a whirlwind of stories circulating the media about famous men (particularly footballers) getting down and dirty with women who are not their wives; from sex texts, to full blown affairs, these men know how to score – excuse the pun!

Obviously we don’t know the entire truths of these stories and we have no idea what’s happening behind closed doors, and after two years of working in the media, I should definitely know by now that you cannot believe everything you read in the papers . . . but seriously, things aren’t looking good for these three love rats. First it was Mr Terry, then Vernon followed(!!), and now (although not as surprising as the other two culprits), Cheryl Cole’s husband has apparently been at it again.

Remember dressing up your barbie when you were younger? A short skirt, a cropped tee, pink stiletto’s (that would always fall off); hair either tied up, or brushed out. There where special options sometimes too – Disco Barbie, Rollerskating Barbie and Princess Barbie. But 29 year old designer Lu Wei Kang has taken Barbie dress up to the next level . . .

A 29 year old man – yes, man – playing dress up with his Barbie collection may be slightly disturbing, but his freakish obsession with dressing up his dolls has certainly paid off, as he has found global fame in recent months thanks to his Lady GaGa inspired Barbie outfits – which I am loving by the way. Kang has spent the past year working on these creations, and they’ve been a worldwide hit.

Not only has the chap designed all the minature outfits, he has even gone GaGa on Barbies hair – from the big blonde bow, to the crazy purple . . . I can’t even describe it – the crazy purple updo??

Having been unemployed for what feels like forever, I am happy to share my news with the world that I have found myself a job. Congratulations to little old Tinkerbell Jayne.

Despite the fact that I enjoyed some glorious lie-ins, was entertained by a f.r.i.e.n.d.s marathon and dabbled in some unemployed day-time drinking, I really hope I am never ever unemployed again (unless I win the Euro millions). As someone who has worked one way or another since she was 16, being unemployed did not suit Tinkerbell Jayne. (more…)
