It’s October tomorrow. I can’t quite believe it, where is the time going? It feels like yesterday I stepped off the plane back onto English grounds when in fact it was nearly eight months ago. Not that I’m complaining, October is already looking like it’s going to be a brilliant month (what with the Cosmo Blog Awards next week AND Vegas later in the month, woop woop) and October will no doubt be made even more brilliant because …. *drum roll*…. It’s BLOGTOBER!! Yes, it’s that time of the year again, time to tweet and gram those daily pics.
What is the Blogtober Project?
Blogtober was initially created as a challenge for bloggers to write a post for every day of the month. But over the past few years I’ve been putting my own spin on it, instead choosing to post a daily picture to Instagram and then sharing on Twitter too, using the hashtag #Blogtober. I suppose it’s a bit like the recent #100happydays challenge but a lot shorter (and you can work with whatever emotion you like, should you find yourself feeling angry). The pictures can be of whatever you like – food, travel, family, friends, don’t hold back. At the end of the month it’s great to share all your pictures in one big fat Blogtober post. To see last years Blogtober Project click here, or for 2012’s project, click here.
This will be my third year doing Blogtober, and I want more and more of you to take part, focusing on the picture side of it, so please share this with friends and fellow bloggers. To take part all you need to do is post your daily image on Instagram, Twitter, or both, don’t forget the hashtag – #blogtober
Just like last year I want to tag a few bloggers who I hope take will part:
Jenuine of Lovejenuine.com
Amy from AmyValentine.co.uk
Rhiannon from FashionRocksMySocks.co.uk
Gemma from MyMillsBaby.co.uk
Sian from TheGirlOutdoors.co.uk
Kirsty from EffortlesslyExcessive.com
Aimee from AimeeBelleBlog.blogspot.co.uk
Don’t forget to share the #blogtober love, and try not to miss any day’s out – I forget at least one day every year.
