App Alert • FreePrints

May 5, 2014

Last week when I moved into my new flat, I had ten freshly printed photos awaiting my arrival. I had picked the photos myself, a selection of family photos and a few from our travels, and had them printed by FreePrints. The clue is in the name, FreePrints is an app that let’s you upload pictures to have printed off for absolutely free. Whether it be be Wedding photo’s or holiday snaps, as long as you can upload the chosen pictures from your Android, iPhone or iPad, your all set. Or, using the app you can grab the pictures from the likes of Instagram, Facebook, Dropbox, Flickr and Picasa.

FreePrints offers upto 1000 4×6 prints per year for free, but should you want additional sizes (5×5, 8×10, 16×20 etc) you will be charged. You also pay for the postage, BUT for first time users FreePrints are offering free delivery on your first ten 4×6 prints.

To get these FreePrints sorted and sent out to you ASAP, firstly download the FreePrints app which is free, and either register with your email, or using your Facebook login. If asked for an invite code , use FMEDIA1. The app is easy peasy to use, click through the steps to upload or grab your pictures. Make sure to chose 4×6 prints and only 1 print per photo. You will have the option of glossy finish or matte (I opted for matte). At the checkout stage enter the code 2NEWSHIPUK to make sure the delivery is free. FreePrints advise allowing 5 – 10 days for delivery, but mine took just four days, and were waiting for me in my new flat when I arrived!
