Whilst working at EKKA for Kaboodle Designs, I got a Dolly Goody Bag. Dolly is an Australian monthly magazine aimed at teens. It’s quite similar to Seventeen magazine, which means I’m basically ten years too old for it, but that wont stop me from accepting a freebie, particularly as I really wanted the very cute weekend bag. The bag came with two back-dated issues of Dolly as well as their August issue. I had a little flick through and it’s not a bad magazine – for teens – but not my cup of tea. Although it was Dolly that inspired my ‘5 Things I’m Currently Obsessed With.’ The Goody bag was the strangest Goody bag I’ve ever received. Being a teen brand I expected some make-up or at least a nail varnish or two. But instead I received tea bags and overnight pads! Hmmm, strange. I can’t really complain though, I can never have too many tea bags. And I’m really looking forward to trying the Mojito flavoured Lipton Ice. They also threw in a few beauty samples, including a smidge of Palmers Cocao butter, which believe it or not I’ve never tried, but I can’t wait to. If I like it I may buy some, as I’ve heard really good things about it. There was also some Garnier 7 day intense moisturiser, Garnier Blackhead cleansing scrub and White Glo teeth whitening. There was a few other bits thrown in, check them out below.
