As I’ve mentioned previously on my blog, I love the month of January because you get to start all over again, and make brand new resolutions. Fair enough we don’t always keep them, but it’s nice to start off the year with ambition. So here are my three New Years Resolutions for 2013:
Despite thinking I’m a positive person, someone close to me recentlty told me I can be quite a negative person when it comes to anything new or unfamiliar, and I know this is true. Not in a moody or miserable way, but I’m just not the risk-taker I used to be. Since getting my life together, I’ve become so organised and strict that I never say YES to anything anymore. Whether its spending money on something I shouldnt, my boyfriend suggesting a new business venture for us to try, or even trying new food, my immediate reaction these days is always to say No because I’m so afraid of doing the wrong thing and making a mistake. I need to turn that No into a big fat YES, take more risks, be more positive, and if it doesnt always work out, no big deal, at least I will learn from my mistake.
Give my Blog more Love
2012 was a great year for AllAboutTink, but I want 2013 to be even better. This year I want to do more projects, more write-ups and really put my heart and soul into it, especially my Lifestyle section, which is sort of lacking at the moment. After all, I enjoy writing so much, so it really shouldnt be that difficult to find the time to do it. Blogging shall be my new full time hobbie. This time last year, the only people reading my blog were a few family members and some friends, now I have actual subscribers, to whom I am eternally grateful for reading AllAboutTink and love you all for continuing to follow me. This particular resolution is for you guys, to make sure I keep delivering interesting posts for you all to enjoy.
Make my mark on the world – Travel!
2013 will finally be the year I get my butt off my tatty London sofa and get out and about. Yup, I plan to travel my arse off this year! Having worked through School, College, University and then moving straight to London to, yes thats right, work (!!) I think I deserve a break. Since I moved here four years ago, I’ve barely even been abroad, I havent even done much exciting stuff in London, so I really feel like it’s my time to make my mark on the world, see new places, meet new people, and try more things – which ties in with resolution no.1. So watch this space, because its about to go on the move.
